‘The March’ is the third single from St Jude’s upcoming LP ‘Natural Progression’, and embodies his ethos of different styles, cultures and languages coming together creatively, to produce dope music with a global focus
This possicut features back to back verses from ‘your local lost cause’ plus seven other emcees. IF—E, Samosa (both Crawley), Melodist(Eastbourne), MC Efex (Bristol), Tony Wilson (New Orleans), Blackson(London via Verona, Italy) and Nabsora (London), who all bring those rapid fire bars over a post-Ottoman inspired Opus Dice production.
‘The March’ highlights the diversity of regional styles of rap, as each artist shows off their skill and delivers content on a variety of issues from diaspora roots to their lyrical prowess.
St Jude consistently combines big, rich sounds with self-searching bars that preach a positive attitude to life, and Opus Dice combines traditional Turkish music with halftime percussion, providing the perfect instrumental for emcees and listeners to vibe to.
‘The March’ is now available for download on 4DPresents.com andBandcamp.
