Rebel Diaz have had a tough couple of weeks deal­ing with the viol­ent clos­ure of the RDACBX, and then with­in days later the sad news of Chavez’s death. Chavez was an inspir­a­tion­al lead­er, an anti-imper­i­al­ist, who under­stood the concept of inter­na­tion­al solid­ar­ity, he cre­ated a social devel­op­ment fund in the South Bronx which sponsored the work of the RDACBX and oth­er organ­isa­tions. Chavez was for the com­munity, and the people.

Prov­ing that Hip Hop nev­er dies, Rebel Diaz and Agent Of Change chan­nel their pain, rage and inspir­a­tion through their music, with the release of ‘Work Like Chavez’. ‘Work Like Chavez’ pays homage to the work of a true lead­er, and reminds us that his pos­it­ive change and work must con­tin­ue to live on.
