Listen to Fly Away
Fly Away is the debut single from Xelavate, combining his production creativity together with his passion for drumming, set to be released on 21st June 2019.
On this debut track, he works with the talented vocalist TAI, semi finalist on ITV’s The Voice UK and urban artist Aaron Anderson. Xelavate uses clever lyricism to speak loud about a generational issue, pushing yourself to move away from bad influences and taking advantage of what life has to offer. To further push this message, Xelavate will also drop the accompanying visuals to YouTube shortly after the release on the 21st June.
Fly Away layers Hip Hop beats on top of Tai’s velvety vocal to create a multi-dimensional, elusive soundscape. It is a hard-hitting, impactful track that leaves the listener feeling personally touched.
Xelavate himself explains “having first wrote the lyrics, I produced Fly Away alongside the relevance of the lyrics, injecting the current UK RnB vibe with a beat to feel it in your chest. It was a pleasure working with TAI as her natural RnB flare complemented the track perfectly. Aaron’s creative rapping flowed with ease and his lyrics delivered the vision and flow I wanted.
Xelavate, also known under Alexander Savva, hails from the UK where he has grown up surrounded by countless musical influences. Rhythm is seemingly embedded into his bones; he first picked up drum sticks at the age of 5, working tirelessly since that day to improve his talent.
Along with his own music, Xelavate shadows top producers such as ‘iLL BLU’ (credits MoStack,ZieZie, Rak-Su) and producer ‘TSB’ (credits JHUS, Dave, Stormzy). Xelavate was also awarded the opportunity of producing TAI’s first single Daddy Issues, set to be released on 14th June 2019.
