On 14th June 2017, a ter­rible fire erup­ted in West Lon­don in a tower block known as Gren­fell Tower. The blaze engulfed most of the block very quickly. Many people passed away, all the res­id­ents’ lives were dev­ast­ated. 3 years later, nobody has been charged or held account­able and the cause of the fire is still incon­clus­ive. The offi­cial death and miss­ing toll is 72–79. A great deal of scep­ti­cism remains about this number’s accur­acy. Undoc­u­mented migrants, vis­it­ors, friends and rel­at­ives are not included in those figures.
