Maine the Medi­cine links with song­stress Aman­da Rogan for his latest single/video titled “I’m Try­in.” The single is off his latest album “B.U.T.C.H”, an acronym for Build Under The Culture’s Hand.

Maine deliv­ers riv­et­ing storytelling that sends chills through the spine with­in seconds of the video. Through vivid word­play, he describes his father’s depil­at­ing ill­ness along with oth­er fam­ily mem­bers and friends he’s lost. Maine wants them to know he’s out here liv­ing and doing the best he can. As a fath­er, hus­band, son, and friend he vows to cher­ish life until his last breath.

Rogan’s angel­ic and soul­ful vocals offer a sense of hope and encour­age­ment for Maine while he shares his lyr­ic­al journ­al entry with the world.  “This how I get away this how I med­it­ate, I feed my thoughts through the pen and get lost in the page, man cre­at­ively I’m insane.”
