Truth Ali comes at us with this 10/10 album, completed with serious finesse! There is undeniable skill within these bars as Truth Ali hits us with a strong nod to old school hip-hop, we love to hear it! ‘In Vain’ could be the next chart topping rap album as it competes with releases we know and love from Twista and Nas. A masterpiece album penned during lockdown, recorded and mixed at a home studio by Truth Ali himself! ‘In Vain’ is providing that bounce back moment we needed this year, despite it’s running theme of ‘karma’ and inspiration of the melancholy feeling of 2020! We’re here for the inventive lyrics and dynamic flow of this artists’ incredible release, we already know you’re a fan — so listen to ‘In Vain’ now!

Truth Ali is a rising rap-star from California, representing the struggle and work ethic of Bakersfield to the laid back appeal of his adoptive home town, San Diego. Raised around music, his grandfather was in fact jazz/funk singer, Sunny Stokes! An avid boxing fan, he once told Truth Ali to ‘finish the last round’, passing on his dream of making music to his grandson. From there, Truth Ali has non-stop created successful moments in his career, rhyming alongside the likes of Royce 5′9″Kxng CrookedTwistaCyhi the Prynce, and Skyzoo just to name a few! His influences “taught me not to conform to society and to embrace being different because it works towards your advantage.” An incredible story so far from an already iconic rap-artist who is bringing forward his fresh take on hip-hop!
