NEW MUSIC | TASTE ‘CITY TO CITY’ FT ARMAN ALI DHELVI

Belgian-Indian multi-facet artist TASTE releases his global sounds single ‘City To City,’ featuring Arman Ali Dhelvi accompanied by captivating visuals.

The track pays homage to his Indian heritage and reflects his nomadic lifestyle reminding us how easy it is to loose touch with close relationships. Influences from across the continents are captured in the sounds and vision of the single that are put together in a perfect package.

The raw yet, stunning visuals activate a deep sense of nostalgia with the help of Arman’s hauntingly beautiful instrumentals. TASTE takes us on a journey through the cities of India as he documents vivid emotions taking listeners on a voyage through his lyrical storytelling.

On the single, TASTE said, “City To City is just how my life has been as far as I can recall,”

“It’s about going from place to place, having to adapt in diverse situations, wanting somebody to share it with but knowing they might not be there for the whole ride,”

Set to continue his ascent through the music world, ’City To City’ is just the beginning for TASTE, his upcoming EP ‘Suitcase’ is scheduled to drop next year following a two year hiatus since his last project. This body of work announces a fresh start for the Belgian artist as he has been perfecting his craft and multiplying his credits as a writer, producer and solo artist as well.

‘City To City’ shows the premises of a bigger project TASTE is trying to accomplish in the coming year. Going to places to meet artist and make music with them. This initiative will showcase the bond between local and international artists’ and the importance of creating music as one, uniting each other by giving a voice to artists who do not necessarily have the exposure or a platform to grow. Whilst also allowing TASTE to grow as an artist himself.

TASTE is 26-year-old rapper and producer residing in Brussels, Belgium. His influences range from Hip-Hop, Reggae, Dancehall, Jazz to Afro and traditional Indian music. After releasing his first project ‘Just a Taste’ in 2014, the artist has released two other projects in the following years 2015 ‘Shapeshifters’ and 2017 ‘Under The Shade’ collaborating with several Belgian artists such as Moka Boka, Youn, Lebobby, Lous, Arman and Orlando.
