NEW MUSIC | SOUTH LONDON BASED RAPPER COKER RELEASES NEW SINGLE ‘NOBODY’

COKER speaks on the outside world thinking he is doing well but not knowing the truth of him struggling financially with his new music release.

COKER has just released his first single of 2020 titled ‘Nobody’ following a year of 2019 that saw him develop as an artist. With his music having great consistency and managing to release a single ‘Trapping’ which received airplay on BBC Radio 1xtra by Mista Jam in 2019, he has started this year strong with his latest release giving us a real feel of raw and energetic music speaking on his real life experiences.

COKER explains his thought process behind his release. “The song gives off a great energy and has me speaking on myself struggling financially but yet to others looking as though I am doing well due to hand me downs from my brother and him helping me”.

“I started off mumbling and humming the whole track as that was just me letting my emotions and first feelings out to make it really natural and pure. After that I tuned it all into words to give you what you now hear.”

COKER is a young bilingual music artist born in Nigeria and raised in London. Due to this he is able to display his art to his audience using pidgin english, Yoruba and British english. COKER focuses on being able to make music in any type of genre and sharing his real life experiences trying to become a major artist while working a 9–5 job and staying away from the streets/gang culture and negative influences it involves.

With his music giving us catchy flows, great energy, clarity and the choice of words he uses to deliver, it is not hard to tell he has something and is different. Have a listen yourself!
