What’s Your Hood Like? is the latest single to be released from London based Hip Hop artist, Shivaa. The track became available to listen on all major digital platforms from the 26th April 2019.

Inspired by his hometown, Shivaa wrote What’s Your Hood Like? to represent his roots and express the circumstances that people from his area are faced with. Using clever lyrics and freestyle beats, Shivaa has constructed an urban single with heaps of depth and unparalleled rhythm.

Shivaa has been in the music business for over a decade meaning that he has a roster of performance experience, mainly in and around Liverpool and London. His captivating rap style, inspired by Travis Scott and Tory Lanes, has garnered the support of over 200k viewers online and a strong social media following to match.

Shivaa works mainly on solo projects but enlisted the help of collective ‘NWE’ for this release. This latest track was recorded in house via Knightime Recordings.

Over 300 hard copies of his previous mixtape sold simply out of the boot of his car. Since then, he has proudly occupied the support slot for Samondi on a National British, African Fusion Tour and he even graced the London 2012 olympic stage with Merki Waters and Molonez.

The likes of BBC 1Xtra and BBC Radio Merseyside have already shown their support for Shivaa,  demonstrating his huge potential to break the UK urban scene.

To accompany the release of What’s Your Hood Like?, Shivaa will be dropping the accompanying visual, directed by creative talent Klash, on the 22nd April.

What’s Your Hood Like? will is available now on all major digital platforms!
