A message of empowerment and encouragement to all women everywhere ‘Get Yours’ is the brand new single to come from London rapper Ricky Banks.
I just wanted to make this song to remind the ladies that they are powerful, can do anything and that nothing should stop their drive or vision.” says Ricky.
Well known for his bars, ‘Get Yours’ features aspirational lyrics set against a beat that just begs to be danced to. Needing to improvise and respond to ever changing Covid regulations, the video for ‘Get Yours’ features images and videos of women succeeding and thriving, from celebrities to normal people living their lives. Although not the original video they had planned, this video speaks volumes to the aims of ‘Get Yours’.
In an ever-growing music industry Ricky Banks stands out like a diamond in the rough. Ricky Banks has a versatile style, an aggressive delivery with punchline rapping but with smooth flows and concepts. He’s had a humble beginning but now plans to take his career to the next level. Since his debut release in 2018, Ricky has gone from strength to strength, with each new release reaching more and more people. Citing Micheal Jackson, Drake and Kendrick Lamar as his main influences, Ricky Banks gives his all to the process, seeing music as his creative playground.
