The first single from Prime Sin­ister­’s upcom­ing con­cep­tu­al album, ‘Prime Time’ con­veys stor­ies of oth­er­worldly misery and tri­umph. Act­ively play­ing with lan­guage and form, Prime Sin­is­ter cap­tiv­ates and engages with abstract rhymes and meta­phors. Prime Sin­is­ter cre­ates a vin­tage DIY aes­thet­ic with the anim­a­tion in the accom­pa­ny­ing video and the ste­reo crackle in the audio. Lyr­ics always at the fore­front, Prime Sin­is­ter presents a full bod­ied audio visu­al exper­i­ence with this release.

Prime Sin­is­ter has defined him­self as a revolu­tion­ary lyr­i­cist with his new com­plex writ­ing style labelled as ‘Syl­lab­lism’. This style allows for increased word play and com­plex inter­tex­tu­al mean­ing. Work­ing with pro­du­cer Muckaniks, Prime Sin­is­ter is work­ing to push hip hop writ­ing into the next stage of its evol­u­tion.
