OUT NOW
Digging down into his psyche, ‘Manic Demon Dreamer Boy’ is the debut mixtape from EX, the Freshman rapper. Following on from the success of his EP ‘Spooky Boi’, ‘Manic Demon Dreamer Boy’ delves further into the themes of mania, personal demons and following your dreams. Seeking to empower the listener with this mixtape, EX has worked long and hard on this project, with some of the songs dating back to 2018. Working meticulously on them for over two years, EX teamed up with engineer Thomas Fagan who recorded this ambitious solo project. EX is expecting to drop a video for new single ‘SHAKE’ at the end of February.
Freshman rapper, EX (sometimes known as ‘E Sex’), uses themes of freedom, moral ambiguity, and the relentless pursuit of one’s dreams to paint a dark picture for audiences. Coming off of his debut EP “Spooky Boi,” which generated thousands of plays on Soundcloud with little to no promotion, EX’s new work is markedly lighter, featuring the entrancing and groovy hit single “Slip Away” along with an accompanying video that exhibits colorful vapor-wave noir-inspired visuals and dance moves. Always seeking to defy expectations, EX continues to push the boundaries of his creativity and we can’t wait to see what’s next for him!
