NEW MUSIC | AYITE ‘PRACTICE / PREACH’

AyiTe releases the long awaited visual for ’PRACTICE/PREACH’. The DIY video, shot completely in isolation, encapsulates key themes of the track using projected footage of famous protests and activism as well as subtle religious imagery. As the world goes into lockdown, AyiTe is proving that nothing can stand in the way of his creativity with an endless stream of content, freestyle challenges and performances at both Creative Con and to Notion’s 85k followers for their Lockdown Livestream Sessions.

Experimenting with elements of soul, jazz, electronica and subtle hints of grime, rapper/producer AyiTe captivates audiences with his smooth delivery and sharp, poetic lyricism. The Bournemouth born, North London native found his calling in music as an adolescent, struggling to fit in and after years of perfecting his craft, brings a unique perspective to the UK Rap scene. Offering an introspective look into the artist’s mind, he touches on issues regarding wealth, relationships, identity and the pursuit of success. Backed by raw beats and refined, progressive production, he puts his own, fresh spin on the genre with a nod to classic HipHop of the 90’s and early 00’s.
