For those who are new to your music, please introduce yourself?
I am King Keese. Artist. Producer. Songwriter. Entrepreneur.

Congratulations on the release of your latest single, “Ridin With A Boss”! Can you share with us the inspiration behind the track and what you hope listeners take away from it?
Just being a boss and living the life that comes with it; being able to stand on business with whoever you got by your side. I want listeners to feel what it’s like if you haven’t yet reached that status.

How does “Ridin With A Boss” fit into the broader narrative of your musical journey and your evolution as an artist?
It just shows my range, my growth, and how far I’ve come. I don’t like to fit myself in a box when it comes to the music and I like to keep my audience entertained.

What was your creative process like when crafting “Ridin With A Boss”? Did you face any challenges along the way?
I felt like the lyrics came effortlessly as soon as I got the beat. We tweaked the instrumentals a bit so it could sit better with the vocals but we didn’t touch it too much.

The track is described as motivational and empowering. What message do you aim to convey to your audience through your music, especially with this song?
That you really can do and have whatever you want when you claim it. Being a boss isn’t person specific, anybody can boss up and live the lifestyle.

You have a unique style and charisma that sets you apart in the hip-hop/rap scene. How do you stay true to yourself while also evolving as an artist?
You stay true to yourself by remembering who you are, where you came from, and why you’re doing what you’re doing. Never lose touch of yourself and keep things fun.

Can you tell us about your experiences performing across various cities and even internationally? How have these experiences shaped your music and performance style?
These experiences most definitely helped shaped my music and style. Being able to perform internationally, especially early in my career opened my arsenal and boosted my confidence knowing that I was tapping into fans outside my home country. There’s more to feed than the US.

With a discography that includes three EPs and several singles, how do you approach each new release in terms of pushing boundaries and exploring new sounds?
I approach each track with the mindset of making a hit or banger. If I feel like I missed the mark with the previous track or EP, then that’s fuel to give it more and push my boundaries even further for the next session.

What do you hope fans old and new will discover or rediscover about King Keese through “Ridin With A Boss”?
That not many artists have the versatility and bandwidth I have and I am always working on my craft. I am always looking to make myself better as an artist while making each track better than the previous.

As an artist who delves into themes of self- empowerment, success, and resilience, how do these themes reflect your personal experiences and beliefs?
I believe we all have challenges in life and how we deal with them, defines who we are. The music I release scratches the surface of what I experience in life. It’s an outlet for me and I hope my persistency encourages someone else.

Looking ahead, what can fans expect from King Keese in terms of future projects or collaborations, and how do you envision your artistic journey unfolding from here?
Fans can expect me to keep my foot on the pedal while pushing out good and entertaining music. I won’t stop working on my craft and being who I am that brought me this far.
