Agenda on Apple Music’s Beats 1 brings Apple Music’s Agenda playlist to life. It represents the authentic voices in the UK scene, without forgetting international rap, R&B and Afrobeats. For four shows Ms Banks is taking over and every week she will be playing the biggest and best tracks from the playlist, celebrating her favourite UK legends and chatting with the best of British talent.
In this week’s episode Ms Bank catches up with Hackney-born artist Bree Runway and discovers what she’s been doing to stay busy in lockdown — ‘I still have the ability to lay down stuff, finish stuff off. That’s been keeping me afloat. Also just discovering new documentaries. I’ve been reading into and watching artists that I love from the 80s and the 90s. Apart from that, as you know, the world is really heavy right now. I still don’t feel like my absolute best but I’m trying.’
Listen to Agenda with Ms Banks Tuesdays at 7pm on Apple Music’s Beats 1 live for free at apple.co/B1_Agenda or on-demand with an Apple Music subscription.
