Agenda on Apple Music’s Beats 1 brings Apple Music’s Agenda playl­ist to life. It rep­res­ents the authen­t­ic voices in the UK scene, without for­get­ting inter­na­tion­al rap, R&B and Afrobeats. For four shows Ms Banks is tak­ing over and every week she will be play­ing the biggest and best tracks from the playl­ist, cel­eb­rat­ing her favour­ite UK legends and chat­ting with the best of Brit­ish tal­ent.
In this week’s epis­ode Ms Bank catches up with Hack­ney-born artist Bree Run­way and dis­cov­ers what she’s been doing to stay busy in lock­down — ‘I still have the abil­ity to lay down stuff, fin­ish stuff off. That’s been keep­ing me afloat. Also just dis­cov­er­ing new doc­u­ment­ar­ies. I’ve been read­ing into and watch­ing artists that I love from the 80s and the 90s. Apart from that, as you know, the world is really heavy right now. I still don’t feel like my abso­lute best but I’m try­ing.’
