ULTIMATE ARTISTS RETURNS FOR 2017!

Having worked as contestant vocal coaches on shows such as “The Voice UK” and “X- Factor” — Joshua Alamu knows a talented artist when he sees one! However — while coaching young hopefuls on “The Voice” 2013 — he realised that something was missing! Joshua saw there was a glaring need to offer talented artists more than just how to become a great singer — and to offer them a comprehensive mentorship programme that developed their skills in all areas of the industry!

This is where Ultimate Artists was born! The “UA 2017” project will continue to focus on developing talented artists from the ages of twelve years upwards in the key disciplines of vocal development by Joshua, currently working with the likes of Little Mix, JP Cooper, Louisa Johnson and many more; songwriting and production delivered by Grammy® Award winning Engineer, Producer and Songwriter Aamir Yaqub and UA Director Eva Brandt. Song Connection and Performance, Richard Halton and Julie Gossage (musical theatre royalty) will be back at Ultimate Artists, bringing a wealth of musical theatre knowledge and experience. From how to cope with how to really connect with the lyrics of a song and interpretation, to making sure your voice goes the distance. Adding Sheena Ladwa to the line UA2017 will see UA Director and Brand Director bring this all together in how to package yourself as a market ready brand. The practical elements entwined with workshops looking at everything you need to be an artist, from an overall understanding of the music business itself, performance technique, to branding your package making sure that you get noticed for all the right reasons. ua

This is all with a view to equipping students with an overall view of just how the business works — through a specially designed ten day intensive mentorship programme — helping students to realise their potential in becoming the ‘Ultimate Artist’!

Our mentors will be imparting years of knowledge from working within the commercial music industry so students get the most relevant and realistic experience. Having already run four successful programs and being endorsed by the likes of JLS and Fleur East, we have seen the difference that Ultimate Artists can make to so many lives, helping to not only nurture talent but build confidence and mutual respect — reflective of the healthy learning environment that we strive to maintain.

Ultimate Artists 2017 takes place at the University Of Hertfordshire between August 11th — 20th, 2017. Ultimate Artists really is, much, much more than the music!
