After finishing his degree at BSU in 2012, the Californian put his D1 football scholarship on hold and dedicated himself to honing his music.

As a child immersed in the massive west coast hip-hop movement, his passion for the church and his mother’s support brought him closer to gospel music. After learning how to rap and produce, he would subsequently incorporate these far-off but very similar genres into the music he creates today.

Thanks to his amazing ability to switch effortlessly from his militant but swung rap style to singing his heart out he has established himself as one of the most distinctive voices in the Bay Area. Collaborating with incredible acts across the board in urban music, Goapele, G‑Eazy, Terrace Martin, E40 to homegrown acts like Kojey Radical, all give this wordsmith the thumbs up.

Breakthrough tracks like ‘Moonwalk’, ‘Freedom Love’ and ‘Aura’ have been anthems that have welcomed his fans into his world of storytelling whilst creating the ultimate playlist for alternative hip-hop.
