Max Cyr­us is back with brand new music on the newly formed UK music label MCM.
Brace your­self as he unleashes ‘Blind Treas­on’ the first single taken from his forth­com­ing debut EP ‘The Uprise’.

Max Cyr­us, The Cul­ture Keep­er con­tin­ues to level up his cre­ativ­ity on each track off the EP and Blind Treas­on demon­strates his con­tin­ued quest for cul­ture keep­ing. ‘Blind Treas­on’ fea­tures two of the UK’s finest lyr­i­cists in the shape of K Trig­gz and legendary soul sing­er Omar Lye­fook MBE.

The Lon­don-based cre­at­ive pro­du­cer con­tin­ues to prove why he is a son­ic staple for sound and visu­al­ising story telling over music and film, keep­ing the true essence of rap and soul at the heart of his latest pro­ject.

Fol­low­ing on from the suc­cesses of his GQ Man of The Year 2021 ‘Points of Peace’ per­form­ance, Max Cyr­us secured com­poser cred­its for HBOmax film ‘Uprooted The Jour­ney of Jazz Dance’ earli­er this year. His achieve­ments have led him to join M&C Saat­chi Mer­lin tal­ent agency announ­cing him as their latest sign­ing in Feb­ru­ary 2022.

The raw piano infused ‘Blind Treas­on’ is a cut­ting-edge emotive jour­ney that will tran­scend you into a world of ‘Stranger Things’ atmo­spher­ics and uplift­ing 808 energy. Ori­gin­al Omar Lye­fook fans will instantly recog­nise his sig­na­ture style vocals on the chor­us to accom­pany ‘Blind Treas­ons’ riff com­pos­i­tion. UK artist K Trig­gz is already cement­ing him­self with­in the hiphop scene with releases on AWAL and MCM LABEL, K Trig­gz deliv­ers power­ful verses that provide thought pro­vok­ing instances on the cur­rent state of soci­ety. With Max Cyr­us pro­du­cing exquis­ite ana­log syn­thes­is cap­ab­il­it­ies and unique bass design thrown into the mix, this music­al pair­ing can­’t be missed.

With his debut EP announced, fresh off the back of a suc­cess­ful 2021, his 2022 cre­at­ive pro­jects out­put have already set the pre­ced­ent for what’s to come.
