NEW MUSIC | FLIPTRIX DROPS NEW SINGLE ‘MANTRA NO.9’

After a two-year hiatus, Brit­ish hip-hop OG Flipt­rix returns with new single ‘Man­tra No. 9’, released at 9.09am on 09/09/2022 on his own High Focus Records. Recon­nect­ing with the clas­sic son­ics that defined his earli­er out­put, and after many exper­i­ment­al stages over the years, ‘Man­tra No. 9’  is both a refresh­ing revis­it and wel­come return. The track show­cases the evol­u­tion of the artist, invit­ing the listen­er into a brand new life chapter. It will fea­ture on his forth­com­ing ninth album, out next year.

“‘Man­tra No. 9’ is about find­ing free­dom by recon­nect­ing with nature,” Flipt­rix explains. “Unplug­ging from the mat­rix and focus­ing on becom­ing as self-sus­tain­able as pos­sible, and in doing so, cre­at­ing a pos­it­ive future for us and gen­er­a­tions to come.”

With ‘Man­tra No. 9’, Flipt­rix reaf­firms why he is regarded as one of most valu­able and for­ward-think­ing voices in UK hip-hop.
