‘Lamba’ is the explos­ive new single to come from Nigeri­an artist Flexypizzle. Enraged at the treat­ment of Nigeri­ans by their own gov­ern­ment, ‘Lamba’ is a top­ic­al single that speaks to the tra­gic out­come of the peace­ful protest at Lekki Toll Gate. Under­neath the fun sound­ing beat you can hear rage and hurt bub­bling under­neath the sur­face. This is a very excit­ing release to come from the Nigeri­an artist and we can­’t wait to hear more!
Brought up in Lagos, Niger­ia, Flexypizzle moved to India to study anim­a­tion, cine­ma­to­graphy and video edit­ing. This cer­tainly has had an excit­ing impact on his music­al style and his self expres­sion. ‘Lamba’ will be the fourth single to come from the multi-tal­en­ted cre­at­ive and fol­lows on from the suc­cess of singles such as ‘I’m a win­ner’, ‘Nornor’, and ‘Que sera sera’.
