DTG – also known as Deji The Gamer – releases ‘Theresa’, a playful yet political comment on the current state of affairs, via Capitol Records / Universal Music. Since premiering on GRM Daily two weeks ago, the video for ‘Theresa’ has already racked up over 660k views and counting.
Serving as DTG’s first release of 2019, ‘Theresa’ sees the South Londoner deliver a high-spirited track with an impressive melodic flow. ‘Theresa’ tells the familiar story of dishonesty in relationships — using UK British politics as a very timely analogy.
The energetic video for ‘Theresa’ shows the nineteen year old performing the track in a number of locations across London.
Of ‘Theresa’, DTG says:
‘I’m loving that people are into this tune … It’s 2019 and it feels like there is so much dishonesty in the world – I’ve seen it first hand on a personal level but also as a nation it feels like we’re constantly being lied to…”
DTG has over 150k subscribers on his Youtube channel, racking up over 15 million views since his start in 2016. ‘Theresa’ is his first release via Capitol Records / Universal Music.
