Not allow­ing lock­down to slow him down, South Lon­don rap­per Recky is releas­ing an EP of tracks inspired by the cur­rent events. Using this as an oppor­tun­ity to find com­mon ground with oth­ers, this EP takes us through a range of sounds and emo­tions, allow­ing us to con­nect with Recky. Ran­ging from wavey rap to trap, this EP shows of Reck­y’s ver­sat­il­ity and sees him team up with Deepee and PM.
 
Start­ing his jour­ney mak­ing wavey drill music in 2015, Recky has developed his sound into a more melod­ic rap style. Known as ment­or to young rap­per SL (‘Trop­ic­al’, ‘Gen­tle­man’), the pair released well received singles ‘Boyz in Black’ and ‘Nev­er’ which have amassed impress­ive stream­ing num­bers on Spo­ti­fy. His new EP sees Recky take on a more mature sound as he reaches out to new listen­ers to con­nect with in this troub­ling time.
 
‘Quar­ant­ine Blues’ is now avail­able on all major stream­ing plat­forms.
