NEW MUSIC | CANADIAN-DUTCH FREESTYLE CHAMPION MCGYVER TEAMS UP WITH INTERNATIONAL HEROES FOR NEW LP

gyver

Known for his bilingual flow, McGyver is of Canadian-Dutch descent, and currently holds the #1 freestyle rap title of The Netherlands & ended 5th place during the world championships End of Weak in Prague (2017). Having built up a steady reputation in the hip hop scene, he is known for opening up for world renown acts such as: Public Enemy, KRS-ONE, MOP and the Dutch legendary first pioneer Def P. He always aims for a high level of lyrical expression, conceptual depth and technique. He proves it once again on his upcoming record “Madmatic”, to be released late November — early December.

Today he is announcing his new record with world renown producers, such as: K‑Def (USA; Ghostface Killah, Lords of the Underground, P. Diddy), Figub Brazlevic (Germany; MC Rene,Blabbermouf & Christmaz), Mpadrums (Spain; Da Foreigna, MC Gels) and NTAN (Het Verzet).

On this record, McGyver is backed by producers with a sound as big as their impressive reputation… No other than: K‑Def (USA; Ghostface Killah, Lords of the Underground, P. Diddy), Figub Brazlevic (Germany; MC Rene, Blabbermouf & Christmas), Mpadrums (Spain; Da Foreigna, MC Gels) and NTAN (Het Verzet) are part of the production team. But also expect McGyver to team up with old and new allies in the game: Jay Atelier and Geert Schrijvers have been close friends with him as early as 2004 & 2010 respectively, and singer / femcee Hind Hakki also hits a few high notes on the record.

Expected release: late Nov — early Dec 2018
